The Turkish calls it “doner kebab”, the Greeks call it “gyros”, and the Arabs call it “shawarma” but it all means rotating grilled meat on a vertical spit. It’s quite a popular street food amongst the Middle Easterners and now it is making its mark across the globe!

For those of you who haven’t heard of it, shawarma is basically marinated meat that you would often see on a rotating spit and just before serving, thin slices are shaved off this rotating spit of shawarma meat and piled up into large Pita bread with all of the best toppings — pickles, tomatoes, onions, and homemade sauces.

At the Shawarma & Grill we are more than just a restaurant. We are a family. And it was our family’s  idea to bring a taste from the streets of Jordan to our hometown Temecula. We brought the aromatic spices from Amman Jordan and add our own blend thus creating a unique taste. Our passion for feel good, wholesome fare came to life as we bring incredibly fresh Mediterranean cuisine. This inspiration came from the heart and kitchen of our family to share with you at our favorite place to enjoy life together, our table.
